Hotels

There are hotels in every category within easy walking distance to the conference venue, many of them located in beautiful historical buildings. The rates start at about 70 € per night. For the conference participants, we have negotiated special rates in three hotels of different categories where blocks of rooms are reserved for the FUSION conference.

Holiday Inn Express Heidelberg City Center:

This hotel is located in the lively city center of Heidelberg and in walking distance to the conference venue and the Old Town. Its 152 modern rooms are equipped with several amenitis like a free coffee and tea maker and a hydro massage shower. You can work using the free WiFi access or relax in on the hotel private sunroof. The room rate is 149€ for a standard room.

Heidelberg Marriott Hotel:

This 4 star hotel has an exceptional location directly at the river Neckar. The hotel has its own pier to take a water taxi to reach the conference venue within a few minutes. All rooms have luxurious beds with designer blankets and 50% of the rooms have a direct view of the river. The hotel offers an indoor pool and a large spa area, which is free of charge. The room rates are 159 Euro incl. breakfast for a single room and 181 Euro incl. breakfast for a double room.

Crowne Plaza Heidelberg City Centre:

This 4 star hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the Old Town and to the conference venue. Lufthansa offers shuttle buses directly from the arrival level in Frankfurt International Airport to the Crowne Plaza hotel. All rooms are renovated with different sizes and facilities. The hotel also offers a spa area (Kurfürstentherme), which can be used free of charge. The room rates are 189 Euro incl. breakfast for a single room.

Europäischer Hof:

This is a traditional private hotel since 1865, the only 5 star superior Hotel in Heidelberg, for those who appreciate high standards. It is located in the heart of Heidelberg within walking distance to the conference venue and to all interesting sights. All rooms are differently furnished in various styles and have high-speed internet access. Lots of people find the rooms in this hotel are the most beautiful ones in Heidelberg. The hotel also offers a large spa area of 600 square meters, which can be used free of charge. The room rates are 199 Euro incl. breakfast for a single room and 238 Euro incl. breakfast for a double room.
